About ILCE TV

ILCE TV serves as a vital platform for the global Mexican community and offers a rich tapestry of programming that spans a wide range of interests, including enriching educational content, current affairs, and services

ILCE is an autonomous, non-profit international organization aimed at satisfying educational, technological and social development needs.

About ILCE

In 1954, at the VIII General Conference of UNESCO held in Montevideo, representatives from Latin America agreed to create the Latin American Institute of Educational Cinematography.

On May 30, 1956, its creation was completed through an agreement between UNESCO and the Government of Mexico, in whose capital its Headquarters was established.

In 1969 he changed his name to the Latin American Institute of Educational Communication.

On May 31, 1978, 13 countries signed in Mexico City the treaty with which the ILCE acquired the status of an international organization, with the autonomy of management, legal personality, and its own assets.

The above, based on the decisions of the XIX General Conference of UNESCO (1976).

Since then, currently made up of 14 Member States, the ILCE has served the Latin American and Caribbean region in the development of audiovisual teaching resources, as well as cutting-edge educational models that have set important precedents and that today become a point Starting to draw new horizons.

Mission

Propose, articulate and promote cutting-edge educational communication initiatives and projects that generate significant learning experiences; and thereby contribute to the formulation of better educational policies, capable of responding to the needs and aspirations of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Vision

To be a reference and valuable actor in the indeclinable task of ensuring quality education with equity in the region, through the appropriation and appropriate use of technologies, in a framework of cooperation and shared responsibility.

What does the ILCE do?

It is at the service of the Latin American and Caribbean region for the generation of solutions and strategies to implement educational public policies on ICTs and for the development of audiovisual teaching resources.

Proposes articulates and promotes cutting-edge educational projects that generate innovative learning experiences to improve educational models.

It promotes quality, equity, and inclusion in educational services, as well as the strengthening of the teaching profession, through the incorporation of innovative technologies of each moment.
